A buck who has shed his antlers looks meek and hungry during a winter snow storm in Connecticut USA.
This photograph tied for second place in the FAA contest, "Let It Snow" in December 2016. This image also won first place out of 1544 entries in the "2015 Best Animal, Fish and Birds" contest on FAA in November 2015.
This photograph also won first place in a contest to become the new logo for the FAA group, "Our 4-Legged Friends" for August 2015.

Thank you so much, Lois! I was actually photographing birds on a snowy morning, and had my eye glued to the camera to such an extent that I didn't even see this buck until he was very close. I was very lucky to get this shot!
