This Cedar waxwing (Bombycilla cedrorum) looks to be in waxwing heaven. We had six of them here on our farm in Connecticut this November, feasting on bittersweet berries.

I purchased my first SLR, a 1970 Nikon FTN, when I was in High School. I studied both science and art in college, and although I pursued science and technology management as a career, artwork has remained a driving passion for me.
