Description
This is the bloom of a Thanksgiving cactus (Schlumbergera truncata). The plant looks very similar to a Christmas cactus, but blooms about a month earlier, given the same temperature and light conditions.
This photograph won first place in the contest " One Flower Close Up" on FAA in December 2016!
