Description
This is a tiny Northern Saw Whet Owl who hit by a car and rescued. Her injuries prevent her from being released back into the wild, so she now lives at a wonderful rehab/rescue sanctuary in Killingworth, CT called "A Place Called Hope."
This photograph won second place in the Raptors Group Logo Contest in Septmber 2015.

He looks sad. Nicely shot!
Amy Porter replied:
Thanks very much for your comment and favorite, Frozen in Time! I don't know if this little fellow was sad, but since being injured, he lives in a raptor rescue center. He has a great home, but I'm sure he would rather be living in the wild.

Dot Rambin
