With a little help from non-toxic, but stinky, deer repellent, the mallows in our garden are blooming this year.

I have never seen these flowers before. They are gorgeously captured, such a pretty shade of purple.

Many thanks for your compliment and fave, Ellen. These flowers are a perennial called "malvo moschata." I think they are considered wildflowers, but I got mine at a nursery.
