Description
This adult osprey (Pandion haliaetus) is sounding a warning as our boat approaches her nest. This photograph was captured from the bow of the "Riverquest" using a Nikon D7200 with a Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens. As we traveled down the Connecticut River from Haddam, CT to Old Lyme and back on this July afternoon, we saw many opsreys and a few bald eagles.
