Description
This Tree Swallow (Tachycineta bicolor) is one of a busy pair that have been building their nest in a bluebird house in Connecticut. These beautiful birds have iridescent blue feathers that catch the light as they swoop through the air catching bugs. Once their nest is built and eggs hatched, the pair will spend several weeks tirelessly catching insects to feed to their young.
