This Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) was bracing himself against the wind during a February snow storm in Connecticut.
This photograph won first place out of 359 entries in the FAA contest "The Weather" in December 2016, and second place in the “Jaybird Photography” contest in August 2019. Thank you to all those who voted!

Amy, this is a great image. I always admire beautiful shots of colorful birds and animals, particularly in the rain and snow!
