Description
These twin white tailed deer fawns (Odocoileus virginianus) were out romping around the meadow, and stood stll just long enough for a photograph. Photographed in Connecticut on July 1, these fawns are probably about a month old.
This photograph won first place in the FAA contests, "Animals in Summer" and the group logo for "Our 4-Legged Friends," both in July 2017. It also won second place in the contest, “It’s the Little Things,” in June 2018. Many thanks to those who voted!
