Artist's Description

Although the Barn Owl (Tyto alba) can be seen across a wide area geographically, I've never seen one in the wild. This beautiful bird was injured and rehabilitated, but due to the lingering effects of her injuries, cannot be released back into the wild. She now lives at a wonderful raptor sanctuary in Killingworth, CT. called "A Place Called Hope."
